ITEM 1) ION GNSS 2006 TECHNICAL PROGRAM UPDATE + A REPORT FROM THE MEETING CHAIRMAN. ONLY 1 BOOTH IS LEFT!

Dr. Todd Walter, Program Chair of the ION Satellite Division’s annual ION GNSS conference to be held in Ft. Worth starting Tuesday evening, Sept. 26, reports that his committee received 570 abstracts of which they accepted 288 for presentation, and 104 as alternates. He commented that the selection was very competitive and that many good abstracts had to be turned away. He also said that there have been very few paper cancellations, and predicted a strong technical program, running in 6 concurrent sessions for 3 days.
Please note that the ION’s National Office is updating any changes to the program as they come in, so the following link is current: http://www.ion.org/meetings/gnss2006program.cfm

Also, all abstracts can be viewed by clicking on the paper title.
NO OVERLAP! NavtechGPS’s tutorials run until 5pm Tuesday, Sept. 26, and the ION GNSS 2006 conference begins that evening, so there is no overlap!
