ITEM 2) REPORT
ON
COURSES IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA
The presentation of
Course 356
went really well in
Orlando last week! We
had an extremely bright group of attendees who
generated a lot of classroom interaction during
lecture times according
to both Mr. McDonald and Dr. Hegarty.
According to these instructors,
this course was one of the best ever and we believe
that our attendees were
also very happy with the outcome.
As a finish to this
great week we traveled with some of the attendees
to Cape Canaveral to
observe a shuttle launch scheduled for 7:48pm
on Friday, June 8th. We got there in time and were
able to see the shuttle lift off from the ground
station and go all the way up, leaving
pop-corn like trail of smoke behind it. It was a
magnificent view and a very
exciting event.
Talk about being at
the right place at the right time! In
NavtechGPS' history, this is the second time that
we were able to witness a shuttle launch in the time
we were holding courses in Orlando. We would
like to thank all of our course attendees in Orlando
for being such a great group and for sharing
their week
with us!
We are very happy
to report also that Dr. Larry Levy, who had to
cancel his Kalman filtering course due to an illness
right before the course, is recovering strongly. We
will keep you posted about a rescheduling of this
course.
