NOTICE ADVISORY TO NAVSTAR USERS (NANU) 2007081 NANU TYPE: GENERAL

*** GENERAL MESSAGE TO ALL GPS USERS ***

ON 27 JUN 2007, AFTER 2200 ZULU, GPS WILL TRANSITION SVN23 (PRN32) INTO THE BROADCAST ALMANACS FOR ALL SATELLITES. THIS ALMANAC TRANSITION, 0NE SATELLITE AT A TIME, WILL REQUIRE APPROXIMATELY 24 HOURS TO COMPLETE.

BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER TRANSITION, SVN23 (PRN32) WILL REMAIN UNUSABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. FUTURE NANUS WILL NOTIFY USERS OF ANY CHANGES TO THE ABOVE-STATED STATUS. ANYONE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH PRN32 SHOULD CONTACT THE APPROPRIATE AGENCY LISTED BELOW.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the sensitivity of JPALS information during NAVAIR's source selection process, we have been asked to consider canceling our proposed tutorials 710A-B: JPALS I-II for this year.  We wish to be cooperative with the US Navy, so are canceling it. 
When and if it becomes appropriate to teach such a course, we will let you know!
