Global Positioning System Overview
One of the most comprehensive on-line general GPS related sites in existence. Complete with optional graphics. This site is a “must visit”. Compiled and authored by Peter H. Dana.

The Geographer’s Craft
The Univ. of Texas at Austin. Full course including lecture notes, lab exercises & glossary.

Introduction to GPS Applications
Another excellent overview of GPS. Compiled and authored by John Beadles. Recently relocated.

NMEA-0183 and GPS Information
By Peter Bennett, and excellent site for NMEA and GPS info. Complete NMEA data is not available on the web, but there is a lot here. Lots of free programs.

SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space)
Excellent space related site with many HOT links! You could spend a few days here. Includes and internal search engine.

US Coast Guard
Home of the U.S. radio differential network. USCG monitors and is in charge of public relations for GPS. Many features including GPS, OMEGA, LORAN, safety and other related sites. GPS portions include almanac, status news and much more data. Excellent site.

JPO (Joint Program Office)
JPO provides the coordination of GPS and runs the ground and space segments. Contains an excellent overview of GPS, its segments, equipment examples with lots of graphics. Excellent site.
Los Angeles Air Force Base GPS Technical Library

The Great Globe Gallery
Many examples of different globe representations in many different formats (at least 91 views).

GEO Community Web Site                                                                                                             The GeoCommunity Web site is the premier resource for GIS/CAD professionals. It's a must visit for FREE downloads from over a terabyte of geospatial datasets, a high-powered, industry-specific search engine, GIS industry news, discussion forums, classifieds, and software utilities.

United States Space Command, GPS Support Center  -  Excellent source for GPS calculated accuracies, DoP, availability, constellation performance, status and much more. Wide variety of plots and charts explaining performance of the system. Many measurements taken from the Master Control Station.

Waypoints - This site lists waypoints (of interest) for the U.S. and other areas of the world. Let's you submit your favorite waypoints to share with others. Also includes links to other sources of GPS information.
