GPS / GNSS Interference Mitigation
Septentrio offers a number of receivers with built-in interference mitigation technology. Septentrio's adaptive interference analysis and mitigation technology (AIM ) and a Wide Band Interference Mitigation Unit (WIMU) are standard features on the Septentrio receivers.
NovAtel has added interference mitigation features to its new line. All NovAtel OEM7® receivers offer advanced interference mitigation features.
GPS Interference Detection
Chronos Technology has developed a series of light weight, battery-operated handheld GPS jamming and interference detectors that detect the presence of too much power in the GPS L1 band.
The line-up started with the CTL3500. The CTL3510 increased signal sensitivity and added event logging. But the CTL3520, added directional capabilities to pinpoint even weak jammers and identify where the jammer is hidden.
The CTL3520 can be used to locate the specific vehicle where a GPS jammer may be hidden — even in a crowded parking garage.
"The CTL3520 could be especially useful to agencies like Homeland Security and others interested in protecting critical GPS signals," says NavtechGPS CTO and Vice President Franck Boynton. "These devices are lightweight, easy to use and sensitive. The technology can be used to find both intentional and unintentional GPS signal jamming."
NavtechGPS is the U.S. distributor for the Chronos Technology line-up of GPS L1 interference monitors and GPS jammer detectors. Learn more about the CTL3520 GPS Jammer Detector and Locator.
