Tallysman TW8829 Dual Band GNSS Antenna
The TW8829 from Tallysman is a dual band antenna with GPS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1, and BeiDou B1 coverage, designed for precision, dual-frequency positioning where light weight is important, such as for unmanned aerial vehicles. It features a precision tuned, circular dual feed, stacked patch element. The signals from the two orthogonal feeds are combined in a hybrid combiner, amplified in a wide-band LNA, then band-split for narrow filtering in each band and further amplified prior to recombination at the output. The TW8829 has a strong pre-filter to mitigate inter-modulated signal interference from LTE and other cellular bands.
The 52-gram antenna is ideal for dual frequency positioning where minimizing weight is important. The TW8829 provides excellent axial ratio and tight Phase Center Variation (PCV), and features a precision tuned, circular dual feed, stacked patch element. The signals from the two orthogonal feeds are combined in a hybrid combiner, amplified in a wide-band LNA, then band-split for narrow filtering in each band and further amplified prior to recombination at the output and also includes an LNA pre-filter that provides enhanced protection against high level sub-harmonic signals like LTE and near frequency signals such as WiFi. Is housed in an industrial-grade weather-proof enclosure that can be surface mounted via magnet, screws or adhesive material.
