NovAtel Inc. has announced the launch of it NovAtel CORRECT positioning technology that optimally combines data from multiple GNSS satellite constellations with corrections from a variety of sources to deliver the best position solution possible. With the launch of this product, NovAtel will control the entire positioning solution, assuring seamless integration with all positioning modes and correction types. This product will rely on the Terrastar subscription service and will replace the OmniStar subscription service for all OEM6 receivers with firmware version 6.400 and later.

GPS jamming in vehicles is a concern for law enforcement and security agencies, including local and federal government authorities. Until recently, detecting the source of the jamming has proved elusive.

Springfield, Virginia, USA, January 24, 2013. NavtechGPS is please to report that it is now be marketing the CTL3500 handheld GPS jamming detector for Chronos Technology in the United States. The CTL3500 uses low-noise signal amplification with precision SAW filters and logarithmic detection to detect interference to L1 GPS sensor signals. It's designed to detect the presence of too much GPS satellite power or non-GPS signal and interference broadcasting on the satellite navigation L1 channel. This could indicate inadvertent interference, or intentional electronic warfare attacks, or the use of commercial jammers intended to jam GPS signals.
